What it takes to become a member
If you would like to become a Guardian, you will be placed through 30 hours of training. You will become certified and assigned to a team. Each team is assigned a day. The day will run from 9:00 am till 2:30.
You will be provided uniforms for both Winter and Summer.
The responsibilities will include:
- Learning to handle the weapon
- Loading and Unloading the weapon
- Flag Folding
- Flag Presentation
There will be times when the Military is not informed of the mission and the Guardians will need to fold and present the flag to the next of kin. We all consider this an honor and we are happy to perform.

Buglers are not required to be veterans.
